| I loved this film, for the most part. The fact was so, the lighting was good and had a lot of action to maintain interest. One of the main points that I liked, that make you wonder if you could take the same risks and actions, as the father, if you were in your shoes. Apparently, each scene was valuable for the history, background and character. But I thought that the sequence of certain scenes, I momentarily lost my attention on what was happening. I would not say what they are, or discuss any of what happens. I wonder who plays the son. There was no mention of him in the credits, or information about any site to review the movie: Already Dead I've seen. |
| Interesting premise of a secret organization that gives victims a chance for revenge when the judicial system fails. Unfortunately a similar idea was explored far better in "The Room". Most of the Already Dead film takes place in an abandoned building with the manufacture of handheld cameras. Everything is very dark, with much of the action almost impossible to see. Christopher Plummer is always above average, but his character is used for nothing more than a telegraphed twist at the end. So what you get is a good start, followed by a prolonged persecution and, finally, it is no wonder a "surprise ending". Not recommended - MERK |
