Every time I see Eddie Murphy, the first thing that comes to mind is "Beverly Hills Cop" and this is a wonderful film. This DVD movie Beverly Hills Cop is possibly one of the best action films and comedy there is. The action is very good, the comedy is the right, the characters are enjoyable, the acting is fantastic and the story is great. Eddie Murphy really shines in this role as Axel Foley, a Detroit Cop nice, and does a fantastic job laying out the foundations for a great franchise, like the director, Martin Brest. Judge Reinhold and John Ashton play Axel counterparts in Beverly Hills. Both fantastic performances by pulling out and playing nice characters. Ronny Cox also does a good job with his role in the film. Paul Reiser and Bronson Pinchot also deserve some notice, and despite having very little screen time, both make the best of it. I would also like to point out a little known actor named Damon Wayans in the movie, playing a very small, but nevertheless a good (that is the man who gives Axel bananas). As I mentioned before the action and comedy are right on and the scenes flow together very well, never gets bored once in the entire film. If you are one of the few people on this earth who has not seen "Beverly Hills Cop", I strongly suggest to do this. It is a fantastic Beverly Hills Cop Crime film and deserves to be seen. We hope you enjoy (ed) it. Thanks for reading, LebowskiT1000 - |
Eddie Murphy in his prime! The Beverly Hills Cop Crime film is surprisingly good. I recommend it to everyone! |
The first time I saw this DVD movie Beverly Hills Cop was the first terrestrial television, a Christmas party. Now have not seen before, I found this hilarious tv edited version. A few years later, I finally had my chance to see in all its profanity strewn glory. When the Foley (Murphy), head of first entering the locker room and launches into a tirade of F, ie, only it's incredibly fun, especially if like me, you believe that a comedy must contain swearing. With regard to the current history, Murphy is Axel Foley, the detective with motormouthed attitude. When an old friend is murdered, goes in search of the authors. The case leads him to Beverly Hills, where time with two teams of local police officers (John Ashton and Judge Reinhold playing sullen young, easily influenced partner), and passing of the great scene with great scene (a banana in the tailpipe escape, and a strip bar to name two). Murphy is electric in the role that made him the biggest star of the era, the streets of his talk was very funny and profane. Reinhold and Ashton to give support, as the detective duo fights often, and Steven Berkoff is properly menacing as the villain. There is also a stomach achingly funny cameo by Bronson Pinchot as a camp art gallery employee, and his scene with Murphy lives in the memory long. In fact, many of the best moments of comic is the guy who suddenly thinks the bus or train, and make you laugh out loud in public. To this day is the highest gross movie: Beverly Hills Cop rated R in America, and lasted 13 weeks on site number 1, a record recently broken by Titanic. |
