All my life I can remember the history books are my friends. But history has always been the mere translation of what has happened in the past. I find it absolutely insulting that Hollywood can again and again phrases like application based on a true story, the untold true story and so on. This is not history. While the King Arthur movie has elements of history that can Aurthur ring true, there are many translations in history that predates the history of 14th century monks. In my research on Arthurian history is only a very little relationship with him is Roman. In fact, the style and the translation of many features that are of Celtic origin.
