Leigh Ann Watson is a teenage student at Grandsboro High. An 'A' in history would make her valedictorian and get her a scholarship to Harvard. When she turns in her history project, a 365 day diary of a girl accused in the Salem witch trials, a 6 month effort, she receives a 'C' from history teacher Mrs. Tingle, the meanest teacher at Grandsboro High. This gives an opportunity for Marybeth Carter, a rival student, to achieve an 'A' and become valedictorian. As Leigh Ann tries to catch up doing extra credit by setting up graduation seating with her best friend, Jo Lynn, history class failure Luke Churner, enters with Mrs. Tingle's final exam cheat sheet. Leigh Ann is caught with it and Mrs. Tingle threatens to tell the Principal about it. The result would have been expulsion, so the trio of teenagers attempt to regain Leigh Ann's innocence by reasoning with Mrs. Tingle. When their attempt fails, they attack Mrs. Tingle and tie her to her bed. Is there a possible way to prove Leigh Ann innocent?

The Teaching Mrs. Tingle film had a very good situation - the kidnapping of their three most hated student teacher to try to raise their grades. But that, unfortunately, has a very poor script and acting (apart from WHO WAS AMAZING Mirren) was very poor, Williamson writng maybe we should stick to movies instead of making them. Watchable for the cold heart of Helen Mirren brilliant performance, but it deserved a better dialogue (which sounded like Anne Robinson from the weakest link) and better co-stars - which certainly beautiful, but must return to the acting school. A + for the history and Mirren pefromance D-for execution

Zapping me until I saw Ms. Mirren elegant face. Damn, this woman is all the rage! I think I missed the first half hour, but to see the absolute rubbish that this movie: Teaching Mrs. Tingle is certainly not lost much. This is just another of those Trashy teen thriller and the only good thing about that is (obviously) Helen Mirren. I loved the way it transforms the average vulnerable to manipulation. The character is not the best written character (so there is plenty wrong with laziness and inconsistency much less writing, plot holes and lack of characterization), but this woman pulls brilliantly. Katie Holmes is one of the most interesting actresses and should only stick to the soap snoozefest 'Dawson's Creek', where it continues to "advice" of his co-stars. Oh wait, that was canceled long, is not it? Marisa Coughlan and Barry Watson are equally pathetic. I am sure the director and the writer hated his teachers for what they want to teach today's kids it's okay to kidnap their teacher and beaten up, no matter what it means is that in class, because surely you an A.

Teaching Mrs. Tingle is a wonderful DVD film Teaching Mrs. Tingle ... By far my favorite comedy / drama movie. This is an indie DivX film Teaching Mrs. Tingle (which means it is not low budget but is not sold in stores or not seen or heard much), but it is a wonderful and fun to watch the movie. He has very good music and a very good story. The artwork on the cover says it all, the main cast members of all black and white with a red apple really lol. I suggest you all to rent or buy this film. Cast members Katie Holmes (Dawson's Creek, Batman begins), Barry Watson (7th Heaven) Marris Coughlan (Freddy my fingers) and Helen Mirren (The Queen, National Treasure 2)

A strange cheap 80'-Hughes-like film: Teaching Mrs. Tingle of the nineties, with humor, heart and moral ... Mirren and Marisa Coughlan (asuming that makes your own voice-work, I'm not quite sure ...) for some decent acting, but the rest of the cast is pure TV soap ... Steal ideas from all sides. After the Mirren says Holmes character-character that shes seen through their right, it is expected that the Teaching Mrs. Tingle movie has the courage to continue, but no - the police in ridiculous fashion with 3 false end and still managed for the Holmes - an exit at the top after having deceived everyone around her. It seems worthwhile to be a (w) bitch in this movie: Teaching Mrs. Tingle ...
