| I have not seen s ** t in my life! please please please do not do this! how they obtained a score on IMDb at all is beyond me, let alone 6! This is absolute filth, means nothing! if you've seen the other Hannibal Lecter movies, then I'm not where they come from, is not imagine how Lecter in his early days he is too much of a monster for a start. | every time you give people the benefit of the doubt ... ans screw will say something stupid. when I went to see 'Hannibal Rising' around me in the theater no different. "I thought this was going to be about Hannibal Lecter that dude." This is the kind of junk that I heard around me, and of course, I turned and Shusha "... but let them ... what do people expect? This Hannibal Rising film is about how Hannibal began, is not Anthony Hopkins, no other serial murderers, nothing that makes it like the other 3 films (yes I know there are 4 but I do not want to see Brian Cox as Lecter), so why go and expect to be as them. is a story, not a copy of the other 3 movies ... so seriously, if you are going to see this Hannibal Rising Drama film expecting a good story, some pretty good acting from most of the people involved, some scenes bloody, and a very worrying for the life of Lecter. if you're waiting for anything else, you are just wasting your time. |
| Presented as a prequel to the famous "Manhunt" and "The Silence of the Lambs", this DVD film Hannibal Rising did not seem to pay attention to verisimilitude. Lecter - learning - is a victim of a brutal violence suffered when he was 8 years. Survives attack, war criminals, a Soviet orphanage, a trip to France from the USSR in the 50es (also with a jump across the Berlin Wall), where is a beautiful Japanese (!) Aunt (Gong Li). He already speaks perfect French and is able to study medicine, apparently without having had any education (in the orphanage scenes that can not even talk because of the trauma of war.) Since he is Lithuanian, which probably could speak German (very common in countries before WW2). Quite rare, the Japanese aunt is a survivor of the nuclear bombings of Hiroshima and she is a kind of Super geisha samurai fight under the old rules of Kendo (something a woman of the 40es and 50es could not even dream to do in Japan ). Lecter himself is able to cut the head of a man outside a single stroke of the sword, in a scene so stupid that I could not stop laughing. In the end, this Hannibal Rising movie is just one example of commercial exploitation of once a good idea, as in "Red Dragon" (a totally unnecessary remake of the masterpiece "Manhunt" by Michael Mann) and "Hannibal." Adhere to the original and leave this out of his film: Hannibal Rising "to see" list. |
