Great Britain, 2007. A deadly plague, known as the 'Reaper Virus,' has broken out, killing hundreds of thousands in its wake. In desperation, the British Government evacuates as many survivors as it can out of the infected area, and then builds a wall, preventing the remainder from escaping. Thirty years later, with the wall still up and the victims all but forgotten, the virus breaks out again. The Government decides to send a crack team of operatives, led by Major Eden Sinclair, into the hot zone to investigate the possibility of a cure.

I went into this Doomsday Drama with low expectations. I was hoping for a fun, light DVD movie Doomsday popcorn that could extract similar films creatively. It turned out that only started similar films. There were clever touches and some nice attention to detail, but the moments of quick relief are too far apart. The problems started for me in the beginning. All the best films of this genre has never extended mounting. In Escape from New York, the president is caught and the snake is on its way and that is all you really need to know. In Road Warrior, Max only appears out of nowhere right into the action. This Doomsday Drama took a long exposure of encouragement by Malcolm McDowell and a superfluous scene of action on board a vessel. The Doomsday Drama movie has moments of potential, after the introduction of the Sun and the final persecution come to mind, but had a bit of nothing happening in the middle. There was also more than a few topics. About the only thing missing is a cat jumping out of the shadows. It may have been conceived as an homage to other films of the genre homages but only to remind me of how these films are much higher and I ended up leaving the theater wanting to see the way Guerrero. In fairness to the Doomsday movie that probably will not compare to these other post-apocalyptic movies and maybe my expectations were higher than I had thought, but despite that it was still a pretty bland film.

Teeny weenie little spoilers ** here ** Neil Marshall is my hero. Cliché 'is a relative term. What is it called when pushed beyond the stratosphere? I call it hilarious. I was expecting to be disappointed somewhere, but I do not. Happy to have a certain opinion, not just enjoy this, but it is now my "go to" stack of DVDs. It is not derived, or rip, but real tribute to the great cinema nervous. I did not have to suspend my disbelief here for more Star Wars, Superman, or dawn of the dead. Who has everything (and I mean all) in spades. How can you top getting a senior blonde nekkid in a tub firing a shotgun? Or a hero who can remove the eyes of his own false and use as a remote control robotic camera? Answer, you can not. Total gem. If Tarantino was not as enamored of their dialogue, and not so eager to impress his friends DVD movie Doomsday school, might be able to do something this cool. On the other hand, maybe not. If Rob Zombie copulated with Eric Idle, and children who had mutant named Matt Stone and Trey Parker, the children could have produced a live action such as this gem. This is the operating perfectly.

Frankly, I expected a lot from this movie: Doomsday .. In short, it was a real disappointment for me. Neil MARSHALL tired to do something, but not totally .. I always like this kind of post-disaster scenario in the Doomsday film and everything. As a matter of fact, since the DVD film Doomsday moves me, I liked it for a short time .. After the descent, I thought I would do a good job MARSHALL next .. DOG SOLDIERS was even better than the kind that sincerely .. I saw the Director's Cut lately, nothing is enough to change this failure .. I would not use these terrible words about this title, but I can not help ya .. I hope Neil Marshall returns with a new and exciting idea and shocks us .. For now this is my sincere hope it ..
