| I liked the characters in this DVD film Lie with Me and the actors themselves. But the truth is that this Lie with Me film falls short in its efforts to examine the opposite sex addiction to the complexity of love and relationships. I suppose it is easy to dismiss this work as a well-produced soft porn flick. Seems to be wanting more. The problem is the characters are not very well developed. We do not know what the two main characters find in each other beyond their heavy breathing. They say that love them the time, but who knows why? Frankly my idea of what you know female lead has to offer in terms of substance. At least the male character is seen reading Steppenwolf the cliff notes and not the version, either. So I guess we can deduce that it has the depth and intelligence. The female lead, however, seems to work in the development of the photo as a store clerk. However, she has a varied wardrobe that somehow is able to pay. That's all about your personality and depth. But Bods are attractive and I must guiltily admit that I enjoyed. If the sex scenes were edited out, the theater would be empty half way through any selection! |
| Probably one of the most honest depictions of the contemporary urban dilemma to hit the big screen in this (or any other) year. Lauren Lee Smith gives a performance that is, to quote David English, Vancouver Province, "an action likely to be as good as any you'll see an actor from Vancouver - to make any actor - this year." I totally agree. The image is displayed as a dark, but very real glimpse into the life of a young, promiscuous, and emotionally challenged woman. Lauren Lee Smith was perfectly cast in a very difficult role that requires not only an understanding of the "dark side" of modern relationships, but a clear ability to address the "Leila" with honesty, courage and a sense of honesty that transcends most films of this genre. |
| This is one of the most realistic portrayals of what it means to be a woman who sits on the fine line between sex and love. Can you really have both? Can you love someone and have great sex? I loved how this movie: Lie with Me captures the magnetism between two people.The heat, the passion of love and the possibility arising from the attraction. The fact that sometimes you do not see the love until it is too late. When do you really appreciate? It also makes you see the feelings of addiction, even if completely helpless in the arms of another, and that feeling of never wanting to stop. The main characters did a great job and had amazing chemistry on screen. One of the best love stories I've seen that it was not a "chick movie." If you've already seen this Lie with Me film you may want to see the following titles: Wicker Park OR LOVE ME IF YOU DARE (French film). Both films deal with the closeness and connection between the fans who were probably kismet.Minus the crudeness of sexual activity. |
| A secondary role in the first two seasons of 'The L Word "to a bright leading lady, Lauren Lee Smith has found the level at which should be employed. Even with some lines and scenes that attracted attention as Lara Perkins in the strong set of L Word, and if the players that led to his casting here then I can understand fully. The tabloid notoriety of the Lie with Me Drama movie does not diminish its artistic merit. It is a Lie with Me Drama about modern sex education and is very serious in its treatment of two main characters as they move from nihilism to lighting. A single word description would be intense and all the ends are considered human emotions, but seems to have been a great piece of censorship on the scene in which Leila was truncated located in a room full of Afro-Caribbean men to the scene only to end prematurely with only an oblique reference to what might have happened because of throwing a line below. Beautifully photographed and directed, the natural sound can sometimes make it difficult dialogue discern but adds to the contemporary dynamics of the whole piece. Due to the nature of film: Lie with Me acting to be very physical and Lauren Lee Smith and Eric Balfour Åre huge success, as manifested through the complex emotions body language and facial expression, it's peculiar side effect of the style they adopt in that seem to move through their environment without being part of it - the wedding is a case in point, as is the scene of games. I am DVD, simply because what Lauren Lee Smith's name, but found the DivX film Lie with Me to be another excellent example of Canadian cinema. |
| I was really surprised by the emotional depth and quality of this unforgettable film, which could easily have felt just tawdry and cheap due to the abundant and almost naked explicit sex that dominates. The excellence of the results, however, acts as a counterweight to sexual arousal. Acting in this tale of the great struggle between lust and true love, both leads radiate a subtle emotion through facial expression and body posture that makes great conversation characters "speak" in the body means. The low voice of appropriations actually contribute to the development of the relationship. In a society where all sexual experimentation at an early age exposes many of the traps in this Lie with Me film explores, this is a strong statement about the human hunger for love and real relationship. |
| This Lie with Me Drama movie is the best I've seen out of a time in Canada. Displays of beautiful Toronto, in a way never before seen in a movie. I think it is very honest women and sex. Not all women, but women who can not understand what love is in relation to sex. This DivX Movie Lie with Me is entirely about love, and I think all the ridiculous obsession with sexual content is an underestimation of the story. Everyone should see this film, which needs our support, not just because I can see the sex, inside and out. You should see because it explores love in a way that has never been captured on screen before. It explores love as something that is slow and drawn up and tangled in some places like the main character is confronted with the idea of its existence. This Lie with Me Drama could not have worked without the two main players who made this DVD film Lie with Me what it is. |
