Tobacco industry lobbyist Nick Naylor has a seemingly impossible task: promoting cigarette smoking in a time when the health hazards of the activity have become too plain to ignore. Nick, however, revels in his job, using argument and twisted logic to place, as often as not, his clients in the positions of either altruistic do-gooders or victims. Nick's son Joey needs to understand and respect his dad's philosophy, and Nick works hard to respond to that need without compromising his lack of values. When a beautiful news reporter betrays Nick's sexually-achieved trust, his world seems in danger of collapsing. But there's always one more coffin nail in Nick's pack.

I think if you want to spend a good night, this is the movie. The story is very good and clever dialogue. It's very sarcastic and caustic, but do you have a thought on what is the truth in our world. Everything here is discussed: how manipulated the media, how large companies can decide what we see and what information we receive. All actors are very good, especially playing Rob Lowe president EGO (nice acronym, huh?), Is just to sleep on Sundays. If you still are not convinced that going to rent this movie, I recommend you take a look at the memorable quotes from the movie: Thank You for Smoking (available in the file of the IMDb movie), you understand how it is caustic and funny.

I hate to say it. but this Thank You for Smoking movie will fail at the box office. By the same token, no one was submitted to its consideration. but this will be one of the most entertaining cult films ever. despite the lack of glamor and, indeed, turns a lot of people even before the box office for the area, but all missing from a DVD film Thank You for Smoking hilariously. I do not think I've laughed this much in a long time. this Thank You for Smoking Comedy film is not really intended for propaganda against the snuff, but some of them. This is one of the best movies I've seen out of the last twenty years of Hollywood schlock. It is a testament to the quality of the script so many brilliant players attached to a movie: Thank You for Smoking that cost $ 7.5 million to make (chump change in the modern production). Aaron Eckhart is the owner of this Thank You for Smoking Comedy - he is the life and soul of Nick Naylor and brings all the characters around him in the world. Talents such as Rob Lowe and Sam Eliot essential to maintain the functions of screen, but recently, in the true sense of what an actor is supposed to be. Nick Naylor should be despised for his advocacy of an industry that addicts children deliberately lying to the people. But you do not. I love you for your honesty and intelligence and the conviction that everyone deserves a defense, including tobacco companies.
