| I watch a lot of Indie films and I am a horror fan to boot. I'm going to have a vision without any relation to subjective bantering of critics and commentators alike. I ended up watching over and killed two times before sending it back to good ole NetFlix. Knowing this had to be low budget, I must say, I liked this movie! Has lots of light and water infiltration is not exactly, but it is not what I expected to see at all. I was very entertained with the history and quality of performance. Cameos, where the great! Ben Moody plays a hilarious mountain Redneck Hick! I laughed at that one! The table shows the names of all the appearances, so I will not say more. Move through the first half, thought the Dead and Gone film was a bit of himself too seriously, and which came into its own for the rest of the film. I then realized that the Director was going on. There was no doubt that some thought went into this Flic. Rent! If you like B horror flics with some intelligence. Here are my points of 1-10. 10 is best. Remember (low budget) Music Score: 9 Harry Manfredini people! (Howed receiving it?) Audio: 5.1 Dolby 9. If you have a good audio setup, I was impressed! | Forty years after a man kills his wife, his children and himself, Jack Wade (Quentin Jones) brings his sick wife to the isolated cabin to kill her because she is a famous actress and he has no money. As you spend more time alone, begins to fall into madness, and before they are well thought out plan of life becomes your nightmare. Boring! Nothing new, nothing interesting, nothing original, nothing worth remembering. It is a Dead and Gone film that was going to forget that 20 minutes after watching. The only cool thing is the addition of Felissa Rose as a lawyer for Jack (the love interest and aspiring), since it is a basic element in the horror DVD film Dead and Gone history (see "Sleepaway Camp" and you know what I mean) . |
| Funeral can not be popular among teens who devour horror films through free downloads and you want to see a lot of gore and sex. Black comedy that blends well in the horror. Its exceptionally well directed, cleverly written, with an inspired use of light and color and big-budget special effects. The movie: Dead and Gone is surprisingly beautiful to watch. And Yossi Sasson creates a syncopated rhythm of shocks that are truly frightening. The performance is good and the heat is being sought. Kyle Gass is hilarious as a television minister. Robert Herrick and plays this giant gay Hillbilly. I wont say what it is, but the scene in which things are oozing from his mouth is totally gross and laugh out loud funny. The screenplay was written by Harry Shannon, who is a cult horror author for good reason. I am a great fan of his books and did not disappoint. This Dead and Gone Horror film is for a mature audience, no matter what their age. There are a lot of character and development of a real plot. Teens do not scream for an hour. Lo recomiendo. |
