| In Las Vegas after breaking his knee in a match, the former promising football player Brandon Lang (Matthew McConaughey) has to work in a telephone anticipate the outcome of games because of a lack of career options. After many successful predictions, he was invited by Walter Abrams (Al Pacino) to go to Manhattan and work with him in his advice to businesses of gambling. Brandon changes his name and personality, becomes famous advice to clients and close to the family of Walter, and a good friend of his wife, the owner of a hair salon Toni Morrow (Rene Russo). | I am usually a big fan of Pacino (Scarface, Serpico, Devils defender), but the smell of a woman who practically plays the same role and cry a lot. This Two for the Money Thriller film does not have to heat the endearing characters. Played by Brandon McConnahey Bongo is the least pleasant of the gang. He went nowhere, even a real human being. Pacino is my hope and goodness unlikeable Rene Russo is how old? The only high light of this miserable mess was the hot bitch with perfect lipstick and whose total of 10 lines. Even the usually reliable Jeremy Piven was completely unlikeable. Note to film: Two for the Money writers, who tend not to work unless one of the main characters is at least somewhat enjoyable (Scarface notable exception). As the film: Two for the Money closes old Brandon and the airport is my only thought was, please leave a plane crash at the airport and killing Brandon. |
| I can not say I liked this movie, but it was not so terrible that it hurts me to see it. It is in the best sense lint. They call me a simple morality, with the view that sport can ruin gambling that no matter how you are involved. Definitely there are better options in the DVD rental shop.
