This movie: Hudson Hawk is a classic farce (something that Hollywood has not made much of a time - at least not intentionally). Situations and characters are so over the top is incredible that not only float in space. Bruce Willis is pretty smile on / wisecrack ironically - more like his "Moonlighting" days compared to its current ground action hero - is to deal with psychotic billionaires, the "MTV-IA, (somewhat) organized crime and attractive nun Vatican. They play in the cable a bit lately, and I get a kick each time the navigation channel that - good for a good laugh several times a minute. Care, sit down, have fun, but not try to take seriously anything even remotely! |
This Hudson Hawk Action movie was on my list of films generated by actors such as personal projects. That's because you really get to know these guys when you see what you really want to do. Bruce worked on this for a long time. If your Willis' acting, it is a style, much like Mel Gibson's. The idea is to focus on the character in a serious way, but always let the public know that there is a kind of concerns do so. The formula is subtle and depends on the real life the actor has to assume that. If allowed incompetent execrable editing and score, this is a very intelligent film. In particular, it is a very clever placement of a Hudson Hawk Action movie about other films. Walking through the various proposals for a real movie, with lots of references to remember. But it's really a lot of jokes that make fun of broader films. The position and the distance that the film: Hudson Hawk has to be real movies is the same as the active stance to the work that Bruce does portray the character. Check it out. That has some problems, but it says a lot about Bruce, in any of his other movies that you like, and is likely to improve the film. |
A DVD movie Hudson Hawk that I have never understood the criticism of the response. Yes, it is above all an ego trip Bruce Willis. Who cares? It is a Bruce Willis _fun_-ego trip. He smirks, smartmouths, Struts, sings, and passes through each stage. But he still can not steal the thunder of Danny Aiello, James Coburn and his band of agents, and Sandra Bernhard and Richard Grant in a real number sequence as bizarre eccentric (to put it mildly) billionaires. Andie MacDowell does not have much of a romantic place, but even she gets a goofball sequence when she starts to talk about dolphin-ish. |
Why many people do not. They were probably expecting a hard or Die Hard action movie, but this is deliciously light and fun in a silly kind of way. No way is meant to be taken seriously. Like a film: Hudson Hawk where the thieves of time robberies to songs is supposed to be real? Eddie Hawkins (Willis) is the Hudson Hawk, the greatest cat burglar who has lived and has been blackmailed by the CIA and an OTT camp villain named Young Mayflowers (Richard E. Grant and Sandra Bernhard). Against their will to move away from Rome (literally) to steal some of the greatest works of DaVinci. His friend Tommy (Danny Aiello) and under a nun (Andie MacDowell) to help him, because it deprives the Vatican and to get rid of a bunch of MTV-generation CIA agents called Candy Bars (Kit-Kat , Butterfinger, Snickers and Almond Joy). A lot of adventure and comedy follows. That has a lot of silly humor and cool stunts and is richly strange too. Really quite refreshing. Not expecting to see nothing but nonsense deliberate. It is a Hudson Hawk Action film that I see when I'm in any mood, and it is important to have fun. The DVD is quite clear in Dolby Surround 2.0 and is higher in anamorphic 1.85:1 |
