This is a hauntingly bad American Haunting, An Horror film with Donald Sutherland and many other talents wasted in this turgid mess on a spirit caused the death of a man, and this is set in 1820 of a family that has a spirit in the house and the spirit seems to follow a girl at home, however, put back to bed like nothing happened, the results are quite silly, the special effects are terrible, the script is abused in the wrong direction and is not very good, we have seen much better films like Ghost and the spirit exorcist and the exorcism of Emily Rose, this is a pathetically lame brain lost and this is one of the strongest, most poignant films in recent years, and only in the dark .

Since I first saw the trailer for this movie, it seems that many moons ago, I wanted to see it, I simply love a good story and supernatural horror feel chills running down my spine. An American Haunting took me to the edge of my seat the entire movie. Even better this is based on a true story ..... in fact the most well-documented concern in American History. There could be no better deal with Donald Sutherland, Sissy Spacek, James D'Arcy and Matthew Marsh. And special recognition should go to Rachel Hurd-Wood Betsy Bell, who played with truth and conviction. I loved the suspense and pace of the American Haunting, An Horror movie was very intense. Even thought the music adds a special color to the film. Definitely one of the ages ... I compare this American Haunting, An movie classics as Psycho, The Exorcist and The Shining. My friends and I have been talking about this since I left the theater. And what really happened .... I do not want to give anything .. I say ... must see this movie.
