| This Hostage movie was really bad. The plot is based on the best and the poor, the characters that he hopes to become a truly extreme and ultra-poor become overdue and there are several large holes in the story. The local police not to be fooled by a fake FBI and deliver a hostage of the situation to them and is absolutely clear about the role of the Sheriff's Department in contrast to Bruce Willis and local .... PD in real life that would have jurisdiction? Is it really as arbitrary as they seem? It is a mess and just laughable. It seemed like I could have snuck down the canyon and entered the house if I wanted .... that only appeared to be a free resource for everyone. He does not care about Bruce Willis' family as you see only once for about three minutes at the beginning of the film, the opening scene of a hostage negotiation that should not plague in some Bruce Willis is never touched it again and are many scenes nonsense. The young child is particularly bad and there's nothing like a bad deal heroic son of ruining a good action movie. I do not know what happened with this film, but it was a waste of time. Bruce Willis performs quite well, but most of the other truly mediocre acting for the poor .... even seemed as if he knew everything was going wrong halfway through. |
| Hostage is impressive from the start until the last second. Not only is the story quite well developed, to the point, unadorned, but Bruce Willis has added more facets of his "last boyscout" personality.Bruce returns, as we have seen many times before - a lone cowboy has its problems marriage and his teenage daughter. And it is a police chief once again. But he gave up his career as blaming himself for a mistake he made in the past. He is scared and cries which makes it so human and almost fragile, but it is a tough negotiator and still.He have suffered with him, as the portraits that a hero is much more real. Willis has matured and his incredible performance just blew me away. Hostages have to see. |
| I went to the film: Hostage with modest expectations, but was very impressed with how good it was. Completely entertaining from beginning to end, some hostages that offers great action, drama, emotion and most of all great acting, especially by Bruce Willis and Ben Foster. I have always enjoyed Willis' movies, but this was reminiscent of some of his best roles, ie. Die Hard and Sixth Sense. I read some of the media reviews of this film, and some have been unreasonably harsh. They were watching the same movie? Once again, I am glad we do not listen to criticism because it would have lost this movie. If you're in the mood of a tense, gritty thriller with credible characters and emotional hostages not disappoint. I 8.5/10. |
| Perfect casting, great acting by all the cast! The director knows his stuff, and my first impression that your guidance with these young players may have been the key to its powerful performance. Hats off to Bruce Willis for their excellent and complete believability to the image of his character. I rarely find a film: Hostage that is worth ten stars, but this and "Meet Joe Black" certainly in my opinion. The plot twist with double hostage scenario was a big surprise. I like movies with powerful, credible content in the plot and "hostage" certainly does not take a back seat to many other films in the coming years in this regard. |
| From the moment the opening credits to be deployed on the edge of their seats. This Hostage Thriller film is strong and hold your breath until the end. Wow! All the actors in this DVD film Hostage are amazing, but especially Bruce Willis. In every move there is sharing his excitement, hoping the best, fearing the worst. Amazing movie. Mr. Siri has done an incredible job with this movie. Is a fast ride that keeps you guessing. It is difficult, it's action is intense, but it is also very realistic and easy to root for Willis' character from the movement. Become a favor and see it on the big screen. Bring your boyfriend, girlfriend, husband or wife only ... I see! |
