| This DivX film Wolf was a welcome change from the typical film: Wolf wolf. First, we have Jack. Jack rules. In addition, we have a good story that relates to adulthood. This Wolf film seems to pay homage to classic werewolf movies like "The Wolf Man" with its basic formula: the ordinary man, the man bitten, the man realizes something wrong, the man discovers fresh capacities, the man uses skills The ability to become a man out of control, a man seeking help, the man was mystical amulet, a man looking for resolution. It works very well, and this DVD film Wolf has great acting in it. We believe it is a corporate wolf movie, a more mature look at the beast in us all. |

But something interesting happens to him. While driving home from a business trip, he accidentally hits a wolf, and when he leaves his car and tries to touch the wolf bites the hand. Wills senses suddenly start working in overdrive, begins to see farther than normal, and more audience. And he starts to smell things that other people can not. Start feeling enough to fight back, and now will start throwing blows. But what happens when the Will Wolf instincts start taking over? One of the best werewolf movies in a long time. | Look in the bushes! Is it a dog? Is it a cat? No, Wolf is brilliantly played by Jack Nicholson. By day, a quiet senior editor of a book publisher to avoid pop culture for quality work, a man who never publish such garbage as "If I did (OJ Youden is, be a man and admit it). His work is being lost at a suck-up (James Spader) to the mega-media baron (Christopher Plummer), until he discovers his new powers which came as a result of being bitten by a wolf. Discarding his wife, who is having an affair with Spader, who hooks with magnates daughter, the beautiful Michelle Pfeiffer, whom he loves Jack Nicholson on the way. Now, I ask here, how Nicholson get all those great lines to woo the babies? I remember when we used the famous "You make me want to be a better man" in As Good as It Gets. Well, there are also a great one here: "I never wanted anyone this way. I never looked at a woman and thought, if not civilization, if the world ends, I still understand what God meant." I need to start collecting these for testing. The DivX Movie Wolf had a great performance, great writing and great music. I was really very watchable as horror movies go - without unpleasant scenes. How to end? You know that someone has to bite, and someone has to get his throat torn, but you have to look to see who. |
| I saw this DVD movie Wolf when it first appeared in the movies and I can remember my disappointment at the wolf scenes. Now, five years later, I realize what a jewel of this movie: Wolf is. The picture is very well done, that stain of vaccines in all, which still hold their own against the film. The acting is very good, with James Spader oozes sleaziness with each eye, Michelle Pfieffer play a hard woman, and Jack Nicholson to be, well, Jack Nicholson, but hairier. The opening sequence takes you right away, the clashes of values, but they work fantastically, from then on I was impressed by nearly all the scenes below. Nicholson is very good at underplaying the beginning of his transformation begins to discover their recent rise of the senses, but comes into its own when their new powers found confidence and self-assurance. Some of the effects of wolves are a little cheesy, and the appearance of David Schwimmer playing a police stop me in flash mode Friends - even has a line similar to the friends could _be_ as Ross? Apart from these small niggles in the Wolf movie has a great love story with great interaction between Nicholson and Pfieffer dialog with some irony. | Here are a few werewolf movies made with style and class. This may be the only man-wolf business combination. Villains have effectively played by James Spader and Christopher Plummer. I have always found Spader easy to hate a guy in any movie. Jack Nicholson is the kind, however, is refreshingly low key, especially for him. I do not think we ever raised his voice in this Wolf film at all very tenuous. There is so much action as you see in most of today's horror movies, however, this is an intense story that they do not lose interest. It is very good in the visual department, too, and does no harm to Ogle Michelle Pfeiffer. Although the language is fairly low for a Wolf movie of the 90s, when there is unnecessary. Could this DVD movie Wolf could have done, believe it or not, without, however, would have been. I'm not complaining. I still recommend, but not for those seeking an action - packed vampire movie. |
