Chris Taylor (Charlie Sheen) is a young, naive American who gives up college and volunteers for combat in Vietnam. Upon arrival, he quickly discovers that his presence is quite nonessential, and is considered insignificant to the other soldiers, as he has not fought for as long as the rest of them and felt the effects of combat. Chris has two commanding officers, the ill-tempered and indestructible Staff Sergeant Robert Barnes (Tom Berenger) and the more pleasant and cooperative Sergeant Elias Grodin (Willem Dafoe). A line is drawn between the two officers and a number of men in the platoon when an illegal killing occurs during a village raid. As the war continues, Chris himself draws towards psychological meltdown. And as he struggles for survival, he soon realizes he is fighting two battles, the conflict with the enemy and the conflict between the men within his platoon.

I thought this Platoon film was very good. which gives it a little boring in parts but it had good action. Charlie Sheen is excellent as a wimpy soldier. It was like the distinctive red courage. Quiet was not involved. tom barrenger had the role of the ghostly figure. he was the man who was a leader. the war was a folly. Willem Defoe is the sort of marginalized. he was the man of the peloton friendship and was a better friend. Oliver Stone made this DivX Movie Platoon about his life in Vietnam, but a kind of fiction in history. I thought this DivX Movie Platoon had a good story. a script and an excellent performance

"Platoon" (1986): If "The Thin Red Line" is a contender for the last poetic DivX Movie Platoon about the war (and I say it is), then "Platoon" is the gritty, tense, realistic contender. Nothing is smooth, easy, relaxed, funny, or romantic about this story. The performance is excellent by all (the list is too long, but Tom Berenger, Charlie Sheen, Willem Defoe and take main characters), and each scene is created with one goal in mind - to attempt an explanation of what is to be a soldier in the war. The picture is confusing and violent, the movement of leaves and light perception doubt the sanity of the characters is fragile, the score is both epic and nostalgic. This is art at all levels.

One of my favorite movies of all time - and I do not know that many people seem to have seen this amazing piece ... ? Platoon several times and I have seen it never fails to capture what was a war (or is) and how it affects people in different ways and not only brings the conflict the war between the opposing armies, but between each other. In this case, provides a very moving account of a person who endures torture some moments that are sometimes difficult to see - which is clearly what we should do movies, do they really feel the actors portray! Some characters from the right and to get a story in the teeth. I think this Platoon Action movie deserves more credit.
