Lulu McAfee lives in a San Francisco home for mentally-ill adults. In June 1999, she bolts for L.A. and contacts Ben Clifton, an old flame, now unhappily writing for TV and unhappily married to a psychiatrist, Claire. Ben is ready to call Lulu's doctor when she tells him they have a son, born after she became ill and their affair ended. He calls Claire to tell her he's driving Lulu to Wisconsin to meet the boy on his 16th birthday, a visit Lulu claims is arranged. On the drive, Lulu tries to rekindle the affair and restart Ben's idealism. Meanwhile, Claire boards a plane to Madison to watch her marriage collapse. Is there really a son? If you have lived or similar, then you would appreciate this story much more powerful ... I am pleased that it is only for the chosen few, as it is heartbreaking. My story is not the same, but it has too many similarities for comfort. These things happen and before you start screaming and acting on the content and production, try to think of some others here that can mean a lot. I understand and agree on some of the dialogue, but not in a superficial way and only in the immediate area as a source of entertainment. This is a profound and moving story well told. The dialogue could improve, but tell me one movie: Forever Lulu where perfection in the script, the DVD movie Forever Lulu can not be improved somewhat. Was produced or directed the Forever Lulu film yet? V

If this film: Forever Lulu is not a masterpiece by any means, is certainly worth the time. Melanie Griffith shines in her role as Lulu and Joseph Gordon-Levitt highlights once again the role of Martin. Unfortunately, your time is too short in the film, as I think he is probably the most underrated actor today. He is very credible in their roles and showed us exactly how to act in a situation of his character was in. The Forever Lulu Romance has a picture, it's worth the time to forget some of the characters Swayze has played in the past and look into the character he is playing now. Melanie Lulu be see ... First, I just want to say it's a wonderful work of Melanie Griffith did in this movie! She lights up the screen. Like the other reviewer said, was a series of great performances. Lolita, Another day in paradise, Crazy in Alabama, RKO 281, Cecil B. Insane, and now this. I'm so happy for Melanie has found that the role and has his life on track. The story was big and kind of reminds me of the old romance movies. Everything is fine, with only a twinge of romance. The end leaves a smile on your face! Its just disappointing that it was in theaters, but then again, the public can not decide what is good, classy entertainment. Instead, we have garbage like Scary Movie 2 and Nutty Professor invading cinemas and millions of people. Congratulations to the cast, director, and most Melanie. This is a keeper!
