| This is a great imagination and children's adventure film. Well acted, well written and the monsters look great. I am sure that many parents are concerned about the curse of this DVD movie Monster Squad, The by 12 years of age (the most likely reason is that this jewel has not yet affected DVD), but I have never understood how some people think that destroy their children cussing brain and turn it into a drug addict. It's good healthy fun for all. |
| I saw this Monster Squad, The Adventure film a couple of years ago and still remains one of my favorite monster / comedy Monster Squad, The Adventure movie of all time. It has a simple plot to follow, because people can very well and some special effects. If the monster of the Monster Squad, The Adventure film a true fan, you'll enjoy a good trivia everything. | The Monster Squad is a fantastic re-telling of the House of Frankenstein, set in the late 80s. A group of young boys discover a secret diary of evil in the vampire hunter, Dr. Abraham Van Helsing (Dutch, not German, but forgivable). Dracula is back and has re-animated Frankenstein's monster, and that over an innocent man tortured but wolf, terrifying, Creature from the Black Lagoon-esque Gill-Man, and a 2000-year old mother . The SFX is spectacular, and the makeup and the costumes are very well done. This DVD movie Monster Squad, The follows the popular myths and folklore of the monsters (only wooden stakes and garlic are effective in vampires, and even dynamite can not stop prone silver wolf, etc.) The act is a little weak, but it is a boy Saturday night at the drive-type of movie. Only Duncan Regehr (Zorro syndicated TV) as the evil of truth and tirelessly Dracula worth mentioning. However, Tom Noonan as the friendly and gentle Frankenstein's monster is a big departure from the malevolence of their peers. Highly recommended. |
| This is one of the great films of the 80s in my collection that I think about all the time. Some minor spoilers A monster fan `s dream! Dracula, Frankenstein, The Wolfman, The Mummy and The Creature from the Black Lagoon is here! Everyone who plays as monsters is very good.The fx costumes and is on the right mark.The children and all other well although they would have had the police of the couple `s a little Smarth that that.The German is also good. The treatment is only beginning to see how the monsters and introduced to us is absolutely amazing man, I mean its just so good to see and also seems very real. I was so excited when this film: Monster Squad, The was made and that Havn `t made a Monster Squad, The movie like this since. The monsters in this film: Monster Squad, The are as big as this monster come.Arguably My film: Monster Squad, The is the Wolfman, I like the way it acts and describes his role.Its a good movie. |
| This was a very good Monster Squad, The Adventure movie for children and adults alike. To this day one of my children and my favorite movies, and all are now adults with their own children. I would like to have my hands on a copy. Does anyone know if they will re-release? If you can rent or obtain a copy of your account, set aside a special night for the family, and be sure to make popcorn! |
| I remember as a theater raid on the experience of winning this boy. Who can resist an update of the story that brings all the horror classics like Dracula, the Mummy, the Wolf Man, the Creature from the Black Lagoon, and Frankenstein? The amount of comedy in this Monster Squad, The Adventure film is sprinkled just enough to offset the horror. You will not regret adding this to your library! I am now challenged with the addition of more details to my message so that the minimum length, so I guess I would add that I enjoyed the supportive role played by Jason Hervey (I always enjoyed him playing the malicious big brother Wayne on Wonder Years). |
