Soul mates Chris ('Robin Williams (I)' (qv)) and Annie ('Annabella Sciorra' (qv)) couldn't be happier, having married each other and had two wonderful children. Unforutnately, tragedy strikes when they lose them both in a car accident, and then again for Annie many years later when Chris is killed in another accident. What Chris finds is a Paradise unlike anything he ever imagined, where he is guided by Albert ('Cuba Gooding Jr.' (qv)), the first doctor he interned under and is helped to see his children once again. Unfortunately, when Annie takes her life in despair, she does not venture to the same plane of existence. Taking it upon himself to rescue her, Chris ventures into the pit of Hell with Albert and a Tracker ('Max von Sydow' (qv)) to save his wife from the damnation she doesn't even know she is forcing on herself. This is a beautiful story that reminds us that love is stronger than death.

A truly spectacular DVD film What Dreams May Come containing the photograph as art. A difficult matter, however. A must for any movie-goer dramatic.

What dreams may come: Excellently done. This story is a wonderful (literally full of wonder) a statement of deep commitment to be a personal relationship. (.. And no guys, this is not a "film-chic"). The height of the depth of joy and sadness are faithfully played by the characters (especially by lead, Robin Williams). Although it is only a "history" and that does not require everyone to have to match up to my own concept of how things really are, "Heaven's representation did not meet my expectations. He left the place that seems too "etherial" as if it was somewhere "in fact" only in the minds of (the character), someone who could really exist alone. The representation of hell, but I just blew out. It is soooo very well captured my concept of what the place must be like a scary place to enter, a place where the agony of the human soul prevails in many ways. This strip of What Dreams May Come Fantasy film in your emotions, first on one side, having to be met heights of happiness and joy, and that is really the characters together with the deep pain of depression. However, the story keeps you moving through an intriguing way that you can never feel "trapped" in any of those places. In the end, as always is expected to be, is a "feel-good movie." Once again, excellently done.

Briefly - the What Dreams May Come Fantasy movie is absolutely horrible. It seemed as if there was a contest to see who was the worst actor / actress. It does not help that the script was filled with a nauseating line after another. I love it when you get existential films, but only comes as a shallow, cheesy, new age crap. Skip this DVD film What Dreams May Come - I can not imagine a worse way to spend two hours of your life.

Any word I put down here can not make this What Dreams May Come movie enough justice must be seen! I do not really understand people who say they do not like, perhaps they prefer the action shoot-em-up Bruce Willis film, which "What Dreams may come" is definitely not. For the intelligent and emotional commitment to the less intelligent was simply, if you belong to the first category then I see!
