| This is one of the guilty pleasures. I still watching over and over again about 14 years later. After a while, even cares about Robert Towne serpentine plot twists. The reason for this DVD film Tequila Sunrise still works is simple - it is a great entertainment. This DVD movie Tequila Sunrise has 3 stars at the peak of his physical beauty that were beginning to realize their potential to act (indeed, in the years since then, only 2 of them realized that potential). Michelle Pfeiffer made a perfect trifecta in 1988 with the comedy (Married to the Mafia), drama (Dangerous Liasons), and this actione melodramatic. The Tequila Sunrise Romance film takes itself too seriously, but we do not have to. It is a silly fantasy world with breathtaking sunsets, the beach, tequila and sports cars, drug traffickers good and bad cops, etc. As in Miami, the DivX Movie Tequila Sunrise portrays the late'80s, and for those of us who grew up during the flashy, fun decade _Tequila Sunrise_ is a fun journey full of nostalgia. This is a beautiful full of people living lives distress. It is stupid and funny. So enjoy what it is. |
| This is a very underrated Tequila Sunrise Romance movie about lifelong friends with the bad guys with a lot of them in a lot of good and bad. Michelle Pfeifer part of the Tequila Sunrise movie is actually the worst part, but of course, a romance plot has to be included. She serves the purpose of breaking Kurt Russell and Mel Gibson even further still friends, because they always have. |
| The return to adult Tequila Sunrise Romance movie is Robert Towne's Tequila Sunrise. There are more than half of the girl is in the midst of two young history. This is a very entertaining and intriguing blend of characterizations and meaning of friendship. Robert Towne wrote well rounded characters and situations that may appear on page fantastic, but come across very natural on screen. | Overall, I really like this movie. The chemistry is definitely there, and the cinematography is excellent (I love the scene in which Mac and Nick are talking while sitting on the swings, in pure silhouette). Sometimes the dialog seems stilted, as when the character Nick said Joanne wants to see how much that night. And I really wonder how Nick is working with all the commitments it makes the relations (with Mac and Joanne). But Mel Gibson's eyes when he tells Michelle Pfeiffer about his interest in it ... swoon! And there is a love scene, literally steam implicated as one of my favorites of all time. Overall, the entire film: Tequila Sunrise is a very interesting comment on the friendship and the ties that bind. 1) The friendship is the only option you have in life (you can not choose your family ...) vs 2) at some point the obligations of friendship can go beyond the real life of the friendship itself. Raúl Juliá has a big speech about it in this film. It made me miss seeing all over again! |
