Set in the early 20th century, the film follows the rise to power of Daniel Plainview — a charismatic and ruthless oil prospector, driven to succeed by his intense hatred of others and psychological need to see any and all competitors fail. I liked how the DVD film There Will Be Blood was photographed .... seemed to some use of video format or the angle of whatever.coloring and gave it an atmosphere typical of which might enjoy. liked the "literary" dark .... and enjoy the use of music. But the story ..... .... or not a good story or not managed well by Anderson.a a bit of disorder .... i had all the time hoping that there will be some sense of what happened in the movie.I still do not know. Do I have reason to believe that the prevailing message is that evil? if so, the evil is not bad enough in Plainview character and good people in the other is unclear, too. I might .. i did't but that is not necessarily my fault.

After seeing this film, I'm at a loss. This film: There Will Be Blood moves very slowly, has a strange and painful "soundtrack" and the end left me wishing I could get my 2 1 / 2 hours back. There is nothing original here. Greedy man. The man receives nothing from it. The only redeeming quality of the DivX film There Will Be Blood was the stellar performance of the two main roles. Otherwise, this There Will Be Blood movie was really terrible. The There Will Be Blood movie spends too much time focusing on the time, silent sequences that do not advance the plot. There is hardly any person who identify with. Once again, the academy, I am at a loss as to why this was nominated for best film. There are a number of films that take on this issue and make a much better job.

just got back from an early screening here in San Francisco and only thought of establishing a few lines. Mr. Anderson was in attendance, but it really did'nt comment on the film, I would have liked to hear what he had to say, as I have not been so beaten in the head by an American movie: There Will Be Blood in many years. He was humble in their presentation and let the There Will Be Blood Drama film speak for itself. It is an almost perfect broth direction, cinematography, score and last but not least, act. Daniel Day Lewis is absolutely fascinating, Paul Dano made me squirm as the wretched young priest. oh my god, I got chills just thinking about these two actions. stay with you. much of the There Will Be Blood film reminded me of Terrence Malick, but did'nt emulate. just a nice memory. I think I'm going to see the sky by day now. I wish there were more films like this out of state, let's keep our fingers crossed.
