After a terrorist bombing kills an American envoy in a foreign country. An investigation leads to an Egyptian who has been living in the United States for years and who is married to an American. He is apprehended when he's on his way home. The U.S. sends him to the country where the incident occurs for interrogation which includes torture. An American CIA operative observes the interrogation and is at odds whether to keep it going or to stop it. In the meantime, the man's wife raises hell to find him despite being pregnant but the person behind this refuses to help or give her any information.

Does not really nail the problem - instead of their choice to show their colors too clearly. And what we get instead is a decent political thriller, but it is difficult to assess in terms of its goal attempt - after all, this is what must be one of the emotive issues known to man - torture can never be justified? Utilitarian is the rule of the potential gains worth the literal breaking of a possible innocent man? Is a terrorist who is not a terrorist? This is a very important and very complex, which is treated as if it were a Rendition film about lobbying on the one hand, and shows Washington Beltway as a matter of piranhas to make or break their careers and, in Egypt, a battle for the sanity of all involved there. Yes, it's a good thriller, but is a large, but lacks the real depth of thought, instead of action to address the issue, rather than (God forbid) to entertain an audience. Excellent performances from all involved - really. Good steady hand at the helm - but what is lacking complexity - initially seems complex but showed the lowest in a rabbit warren go. I left uncomfortable, but not as difficult as it should have, not plussed by the sleight of hand tricks that have highlighted the ambivalence real, genuine moral dilemma, real gray areas, rather whereras I was black and white. It is not the movie: Rendition you want is a good political thriller, but it is not as effective a piece of cinema, as it could have been.

I think this was the most prominent edge of your seat-thriller that I've seen in a long time. The investigation was thorough in the film, the writer has not stopped Kelly sane loose. The division was seasoned (particularly great performance). Omar Metwally was excellent. The DivX film Rendition is poetic, enchanting music and the effect generally very satisfactory. Delivery within the territory that even the media to tread fears. It's really an awakening for those involved in espionage and legal framework which is the site of "war on terror." A woman left the theater and asked me 'does this really happen? That in itself speaks of Gavin Hood's masterful achievement.
